On June 6, 2020 we had the help of a couple large trucks (along with my trusty old Acura RDX), and we made our way out to the very remote and virtually unknown town of San Jose a la Caja. They depend on rain as their water source, which has been terrible scare lately. A water truck also made its way up that difficult rocky road to deliver water on the same day we were there. We witnessed horse drawn carts pulling up to fill a family's water barrel. We helped 61 families with 930 kilos of food - the regular: rice, beans, lentils, corn, salt and cooking oil.
